- Stanley Tomshinsky was born in New York City in 1935. After graduating New York University in l959, he left for Europe. The following year in Paris, his research in art began. After five years in Paris and various travels, he settled in Milan.

- Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
- Detroit Institute of Arts, the fifth-largest fine arts museum in the United States with holdings of over 60,000 works.
- FineArt Forum Online, a fantastic electronic news service and jumping off point that covers the arts and technology. The FineArt Forum Email Digest is distributed by the International Society for Art, Science and Technology (ISAST).
FineArt Forum Gallery Page is constantly being expanded and revised. You'll need a JPEG viewer.
- Museums, a very good index from Yahoo with the worlds museums that are online.

- Museum Computer Network is a nonprofit org. of professionals who are fostering the goals of museums by using technology.
- Library of Congress. Several exhibits including The Russian Church and Native Cultures, Scrolls from the Dead Sea and Rome Reborn: The Vatican Library and Renaissance Culture.
- The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
- SFMOMA Home Page let's you visit the new museum in San Francisco.
- The Whitney Museum of American Art
- Powers of Persuasion, an online exhibit of WWII posters from the National Archives Exhibit Hall.
- The Exploratorium in San Francisco.
- WebMuseum, the unofficial Louvre exhibit which won Best MultiMedia site in 1994. There's a lot to see here and this is the West Coast, USA site. Other mirrors around the world might be closer to you. You might enjoy reading a section of the greatest License around, just scroll down to the "US Lawyers Section". I know legal docs aren't most folks idea of a good time but trust me, you'll like this!

- Bumbershoot is the Arts Festival in Seattle that's been happening during the Labor Day weekend for the last 25 years. A one-time fee to get onto the Seattle Center grounds lets you see all the music, art, dance and local food that you could possibly enjoy.
A 2 day pass is $16.00 if you buy it at the Payless drugstore chain, a 4 day pass is $29.00 and if you're walking by and decide to visit then admission at the Gate is $10.00 for an adult.
